In my first three years of blogging, I refused to accept a penny from recommendations or advertising. It just wasn’t what my blog was about, and I didn’t want anyone to ever think that’s why I’m here.
But over time, as my readership grew, the expenses involved in maintaining my blog also grew. Web hosting, domains, and email list management now cost several hundred dollars per year.
To help cover a portion of this growing cost, I’ve decided to join the Amazon Affiliates program. This means that if you click on a link in one of my blog posts that takes you to Amazon.com, I receive a small affiliate commission from what you buy (this doesn’t change the price to you at all).
Here is the required legal disclosure:
Christianmomthoughts.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
I will never recommend something for the sake of commission. My participation in this program is solely to help cover blog expenses based on book and/or product recommendations I would have made anyway.
